So Trump now thinks the Canada-US border is an "artificial line of separation" which needs to be removed. I wonder who could possibly have suggested this idea and this wording to him?

"This will allow the US to quickly do what has to be done"? Is this a vague military threat? I've been of the opinion that the Canada talk was mostly bluster to distract his dismantling of our government here in the States, but this is a serious escalation. All Trump's advisers are sycophants, too.

I would not exclude Peter Thiel from consideration. He harbours no affection for Canada and is one of those who may not be the public face of this regime but is definitely involved in some matters.
