Correct. Young people have some great ideas, but don't show up for them to ever manifest. They shouldn't have to be excited in order to show up. Politics isn't a game. I myself didn't learn that until around mid 20s. I've voted in local, state and federal elections ever since.

Been there done that. The kids had an attorney approved cookbook for how to do attorney paperwork and they still could not do the work. Old people know how to get things done cause they've been doing it for years. Kids got the arrogance of ignorance if they think you must be young to qualify

It takes something in younger people's lives to make them want to force change. They need motivation to run for office - or vote - while at the same time paying off massive student loan debt. But, there are some terrific people out there as examples: Frost, AOC, Moskowitz, Jones just to begin.

I voted for Harris even though I’m in a deeply blue state. Would have been easy for me to pass or vote 3rd party. And the only ones who “own” this failure are political leaders and communicators, not voters who feel like their vote doesn’t matter. Scolding them feels good I suppose.

I think disabled people struggle more with… some pretty obvious barriers. If voting wasnt so easy in Washington state, I would have missed more than 2014.
