Took the dog for a walk along the seafront last night. It was, to put it mildly, a bit chilly with a biting easterly coming off the sea but there were still people eating fish and chips sat on the benches and even eating ice creams.

Because 15⁰F would be very very cold for the beach. I mean you could, w/ warm enough coats, & admiring the ocean under those conditions is actually fun (if you have warm enough coats), but - well, not a lot of people choose that.
