We see these pictures of galaxies a'many from all angles. Perhaps a foolish question but is it a random characteristic that they present in this way relative to our view of them or is there 'a tendency' to a uniformity generally speaking?

They rise and set in our night sky just like the moon. So depending on when you image, you can get different angles.

The intention of my question was more of a universal sort. The galaxies present in a haphazard sort of way to the eye ... one angled this way, and another angled that way ... just wondering if there was a non-random aspect to it in various sectors of the universe ... so, perhaps a foolish question.
