I’ve sent a full first draft of my book to my editor, and it’s frankly outrageous that a small marching band hasn’t trundled into my house to make some little celebratory parps in my honour 😤

We got lost, i told him "put the address in the gps" but ohnoooo, "i know where im going, i grew up on these streets" . Yeh..70 bloody years ago. Anyhoo, if you drive around looking for us, we are the mini bus on the side of the road, fighting and beating each other with musical instruments.
Oh, they only come on the 8th draft. 1st draft is two red robins doing the 'Birdie Song' on the following Wednesday if there isn't rain between 8am til 10pm. Congrats, though. :-)
It is amazing, exceptional, extraordinary to get to this point at all! You just gave birth to something that didn't exist until now, and that's damn near magic. And sometimes, we have to throw ourselves a parade. So, how are you going to honor yourself for being amazing?
