they all make me angry, but this one makes me especially angry. private, profit-driven weather forecasting means that people in less profitable areas will lose out. that's what the "inefficiency" is that they're trying to eliminate, by the way--it's a euphemism for profits over people

AccuWeather is objectively the worst in my area, which being in coastal Maine is a really tricky place to forecast. Shockingly the NWS folks two towns away are better. (Who would have guessed?)
