Europe should enforce much harder restrictions on social media. Misleading people should not be allowed, just like with advertisement. It's a matter of survival.

We must also make sure higher education, i.e. learning critical thinking, is free and encouraged. In the US it is neither, that is why trump could win his first election.
Misleading people is the sole function of advertising, speaking as someone who worked in the industry for three decades. Having ethics was not compatible with the work.
And ban X and Tiktok. X at least doesn't follow Digital Services Act rules. For example, the form to report EU illegal content is intentionally obfuscated and asks for data that a user shouldn't be required to fill. I'm reporting them to Trafi on it.
