I kept thinking this book was so similar to Mexican Gothic and then the author mentions it in their acknowledgements at the end! An enjoyable retelling of Fall of the House of Usher and quite creepy although I still prefer the original Poe. What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher #booksky #poe
