It is damn difficult to watch our beloved pets age. I have two geriatric toy poodles, 15 years plus. I groom them myself at home just to make the process less stressful for them and it still takes a lot out of them. I complete sympathize with you situation. Best wishes to your “old man”.

Greyson gets a good brush-out (with undercoat rake/etc.) about every two weeks, and on alternating two weeks, I barber is his feet/trim his nails. We don't bother to bathe him anymore, it's too traumatic and he's only minimally stinky anyway. ::sigh::
