If you're trying to teach the player about your console or hardware, then the tech demo shouldn't be paid.

Why am I going to pay for it when I can just buy a fun game and learn the console's features that way? And it doesn't matter if it's $20, $30, or even $10. It shouldn't cost ANYTHING!

I was so surprised when they said it was a paid title. It doesn’t even look very… fun? Astro’s Playroom was an absolute joy discovering the features of ps5. The Switch II thing looks like a glorified instruction manual

I'm imagining that there's more game here than it initially seems, at least I hope that's the case. It's the only way the price tag makes any sense to me.
