Well now I wish I'd gone to the Jeffries protest because the idea of Joyce Carol Oates disapproving of something specific that I personally did would provide many moments of quiet personal amusement

I could easily have gone and was actually considering it!! I was at the office yesterday until the end of the day. But it was cold and I wanted to be on my couch.
