This. Biden, RBG, and Garland aren’t the bad guys. We’re all victims of the oligarchs. Sometimes victims make mistakes. That doesn’t exonerate the perpetrators for exploiting them.

What do you gain by saying Ruth Bader Ginsberg should’ve retired during Obama’s term and is at fault for Dobbs. Do you feel better about this train wreck administration when you say Joe Biden should’ve not elected to run a primary. Is your sleep better when you say you think Merrick Garland failed.

He slow walked the whole thing and allowed private citizen Trump to run out the clock, even before he announced he was running again.
Blatant Trump /Musk Logan Act violations ignored.
But I do get your point, Trump is above the law.
Then why do the laws even exist?
Like I don't disagree voters are also to blame, but we also have laws expressed designed to save us from this sort of thing that we just... decided to completely ignore.
Not pointing this out makes it more likely we make the same mistakes.
Ginsberg retiring would have changed nothing mathematically, even assuming her replacement was successful.
Biden running a primary would have changed nothing as I think any Democrat would have lost.
But Garland prosecuting Trump would have changed things.
It's not so much that it's better as it is if you want to fix problems you need to know the causes.
In this case, the inability to enforce multiple Constitutional laws designed to keep people like Trump out of power is the cause.
People who take bribes from oligarchs and then use their influence and elected positions to cater to those oligarchs are not victims just like us.
They sold us.
Biden and Garland can kick rocks.
These folks have one thing in common: They see ME vs WE.
WE have to allow Trump to negatively impact their notion of ME. That how this ends.
For now we wait. 🙏🏽
While the sacking part was done by Visigoths and the letting part was done by Honorius ( fuck Honorius) we blame them the most, however we still blame Theodosius for letting Honorius happen.
They could have replaced RBG with a strong liberal justice without the need for R votes. But she refused calls to step down.
The right has a plan and the left, well, the left knows they have a plan. That's about it.
“What if” JRK had let the military bomb Cuba during the missile crisis?
Or “butterfly” ballots weren’t used in Florida in 2000 in Florida (no Iraq invasion?)
Or if more $$ went to swing states in 2016?
Biden has failed to steer the country back on course after J6. For 4 years, he was largely absent—missing, when real leadership was needed. He retreated, hoping the things would right themselves on their own.
Biden’s inaction has paved the way for Trump 2.0.
But that doesn't let people vested with representing us off the hook.
America has a rich seam of exploitation running through it.
We know that, and the people we vote to protect us from it ought to know that.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance, right?
I think Garland is the outlier here- he has/had unique capabilities and respobsibilities, and there is MUCH consensus that his measured approach was a failure of urgency and strength to meet the demands his office and oath require.
What happened to our ability to just absorb fuckups and move on?
That said, Garland was a failure in every possible way, and if he'd cared about this nation, he'd have moved faster or stepped down. he's GQP to the core.
Garland: Obvious dereliction of duty on so many levels.
Garland did the bare minimal on purpose maybe. We should have pushed Biden to change his cabinet. His FBI and CIA and DOJ leadership failed us.
pretending that it's not true excuses more business as usual.
RBG- Pride
Biden- Hubris
Garland- Cowardice
Quisling Dem cowards need to GTFO
Geezers Gotta Go.
And Garland can eat a bag of dicks.
We’re still allowed to be mad at the makers of the dam that didn’t hold back the water.
We HAVE to be more strategic.
Fuck that.
We need to adopt a Pass The Baton movement where any Dems over 60 agrees to step aside and support a replacement.
Bernie can and would be a very effective movement leader outside of congress. That seat doesn't belong to him, it belongs to us. WE cannot afford to lose it because he doesn't want to let it go. He should be looking for his successor.
Come on chito and muskrat publicly admitted they stole the election process
You do no have an elected president- the muskrat appointed him through hacking the election infrastructure
You can't move on if you don't know what you did wrong.
#Greenland #Canada #Maralago #FinalFour
Like some sick part of me wants them to beg for their social security and other stuff to really appreciate it. 🫤
This reminds me of a left wing version of the republican "Time to move on"
Don't dwell on the errors of our leaders but don't forget them either. Learn from them so the same errors are not repeated
If we can't call out mistakes. How do we ever do better?
Personally, I have no problem with RBG's decision although the result sucks big time, but Garland was too 'polite' when he was running things and that did allow too much delay ...
Still, we are all suffering because of the mistakes made and pointing is just about all that many of us can do to try to make things better!
The means we may have to use, could be fully justified in the end!
Imagine Dems win the midterms and next election. If Trump and his administration aren't imprisoned for his next insurrection attempt, it's just a matter of time until we are right back where we are right now.
The Greeks knew
She’s not responsible for McConnell’s lies, and the absolute lawlessness of the Republican Party.
Clarence Thomas wouldn’t have died during Biden’s administration. He would have had himself frozen in “suspended animation” before letting Joe replace him.
This problem is FAR beyond mistakes in strategy by RBG, Biden, Garland
If nothing else, Ukraine and NATO would be in better positions, the GOP was on their side until Trump.
For a party that wants to represent itself as the face of the working people, they don’t understand how to let go of ruling class power.
Now there’s other work to do.
Who IS responsible to safeguard vulnerable people if our paid *good leaders hide or flee.
Is it now urban guerrilla DIY warfare? The aged, disabled, homeless, trans, impoverished cancer patients on the frontlines?
Answer!
I think some folks escape into an "imagine what could have been" mode as a trauma response to our current dystopian hellscape of a reality.
Everyone could have done better, but they're not the bad guys.
