Exactly. I formerly held a fed funded position. My role was to streamline the system. Private contractors were paid 6x-8x my salary and lacked the knowledge to truly integrate the system which was essential in my role.

When I was a state worker I always looked at people, everywhere I went, as my supervisors. I always knew it was my duty to put forth my best effort because the poorest are paying the most for my services.
