Unfortunately, I agree. Our Democratic leaders should have pushed harder for a full primary. They took a huge gamble and it didn’t work - close but not enough. And given the risk, as you say. Don’t get me wrong though. I love President Biden, he did an amazing job but he needed to be the “bridge”.
