I'm not a fan of ageism but at some point it's time to step aside. I had no problem deciding to retire in fact I was happy to and now someone else's life got much easier because my leaving let them transfer campuses and stop commuting. Plus, best of all, I sleep in every day.

They don't wanna cut SS, they wanna turn it off completely. Seniors and disabled people will just die at home, alone.
We can't let that happen.
I just don’t think it is ethical to take a job you don’t need when so many people do. As well, there are so many Orgs who need skilled volunteers. There’s work to do outside employment.

I also think communal living is the only way we're gonna be able to survive climate change. This is so unsustainable.

Geography-based socializing doesn’t always work. People get herded into areas and don’t fit together, if you can make group
To the point where one member is in a nursing home with dementia and still a member.
We're paying them for this shit.

They're not content with gardening, reading, fibre arts, etc. :(
