Given all the talk over the years about how Amazon and Google would make libraries obsolete, it's really a joy to see all the interest in and support for libraries and books on here.

I'm curious how the love of books has changed with the different generations. My wife and I are now retired and do mostly ebooks or audio but we've both always loved books. We still buy the occasional hard copy and love going to book stores.
My wife and I have overflowing bookshelves in every room. She reads both ebooks and paper books. I only read paper books. We both have stacks of TBR piles in multiple rooms..
The library is how I find so many interesting indie films from. The staff at the library I frequent are mostly cool to talk to. And I've been reading a lot more poetry books since they have a lot of good ones on display. I love going to the library and it's awesome to see others into theirs
My *local library* was able to order Number the Stars in Spanish from another library. After calling several local bookstores and one big chain, my only other option was Amazon. The library came through for me!
