Republicans, in modern times, have always been lemmings. They live to serve a powerful man. That's why McCain was a "Maverick". Was he really a wild man? No, but compared to the obsequious bootlickers in his party, he was.

David French said that the majority of Republicans who _could_ speak out don't because they are afraid for their families' physical safety. I'm sure that's true. But it puts into even greater focus the integrity of GOP folks like Adam Kinzinger, Olivia Troye and Cassidy Hutchinson.

I might want to read this letter, but I canceled my NYT subscription for a good reason.

They are an oligarch owned paper, exerting editorial control on everything being published. (See Paul Krugman & Norm Eisen)
