I worked for a few years as a legal videographer; the degree of contemptuous zero-effort deceit demonstrated by every health insurance representative was breathtaking. I had one person answer "I don't recall" in response to whether he had a Masters degree, what it was about, and from what college.

The thing that makes being an ethical person admirable, is how difficult those choices often are & the cost ppl need to pay.
We say death & taxes are the inescapable truths but this is a far more inescapable truth than taxes, and more fundamental to human behavior. The rent gotta get paid.

Very few people are denying insurance claims or, I dunno, billing for ambulances because they WANT to.
Unlike you, I do not think innocent people deserve harm, neither from the current admin or the incoming one.
I now have insurance through the exchange. They have denied half of my claims. I had to go through the appeal process and if you don't know what you're doing, it is set up to deny the claim pure and simple.
currently cigna is denying me a Rx because i hadn't tried a cheaper one that'll likely kill me instead. i did not have that issue on medicaid
I was just making a tangent about how useless my masters (in criminal justice) ultimately ended up being.
If nothing else this will remind them that there can be consequences for their actions, and they are outnumbered.
The “interview” I showed up for was a group conference. The info speech was so unprofessional I got up and left before they got to individual sessions. They didn’t care most peeps had no HC experience 😱.
Defend: Defend legal challenges and claims disputes through extensive litigation or negotiation.
Depose: Target opposition (claimants, whistleblowers, or regulators)
Sounds like an insurance company mantra.
