I'm going to try switching my daily browser to Safari.
Paired with the new Passwords app, this is feeling good so far.
I still might keep dev work in Chromium, not sure.
Anyone else default to Safari?

as daily driver, a lot of applications feel trivial now.
Safari is nice but still has it's quirks which annoy me; weird rendering and slow dev tools being the main issues.
passwords is awesome. still in 1password for most things because of multiplayer aspects tho
duckduckgo, safari, and AdGuard is the best browsing experience on mobile
i keep chrome around tho just in case something isnt supported on safari
But I still use Chrome for development.
Rationale: most of Chromium extensions aren’t ported to Safari
For instance react dev tools
It's what's keeping me from switching to the new Passwords app. Although it is tempting!
And only recently I switched to Safari-based Orion browser by @kagi.com mostly to use their search engine as default. But it has other bells and whistles. Check it out.

Devtools still leave room to be desired, but I might just use Chrome/Brave for that.
I am going now with Orion browser for a few weeks now and it’s kinda nice :)
Safari ecosystem features are awesome, dev work on Safari is not. So the best of two worlds :)
Orion is also pretty decent. Built on WebKit but allows you to install chrome extensions.
I do miss the sidebar that Arc provides tho. The hybrid bookmark/tab approach to be specific

There’s an Apple passwords chrome extension too but I haven’t tried that yet!
- OTP sync with messages / mail saves you tons of time
- I almost never found cross-browser CSS bugs anymore.
Cons:
- Dev tool a bit slow to open
- Editing CSS in-browser a bit buggy
- viewing JSON is not nice, RSS won’t open
No regrets overall
Passwords App doesn’t always autofill (due to bad forms) compared to other password managers. It’s a much better user exp then a few months ago.
