The Post game for the Lions just looked like everyone wanted to say. "We would've won if we would've had all our players." You can't make excuses. But, the reason they loss 17 players on IR. IMO
Wow!!! Congrats to the Commanders!! Look at what can happen once you get a toxic, overbearing, overly involved, incompetent but rich owner out of your way??
I hope the Cowboys & Bears are taking notes...ijs! π
π₯² We sucked tonight but that doesnβt take away from how well they played. I hate them for it but I hope they make it. We randomly really werenβt that hard to beat though so they maybe shouldnβt be cocky going into the next one.
I wanted the Lions, but can't be disappointed by the talent and drive of Daniels and the Cs. Also, I've always been a Magic Johnson fan and am happy for him.
I wanted the Lions to win as well but I ain't mad at this one either. They both have a long Championship drought. Jayden played out of his mind. Great game by Commanders and Lions Jahmier Gibbs
I appreciate your generosity. Both are great teams. I was certain the Commanders didn't have a chance -- their games have been so close and I knew close wouldn't get anywhere in Detroit.
That they had a week's less rest and won in the Lion's Den makes me tingly.
lol Cowboys still the only team in that division to not make it to the Championship game since the mid 90's. Eagles and Giants have both won Superbowls since.
Let that be a lesson to all those teams who are thinking about hiring Ron Rivera. He won four games last year, and now his old team is in the NFC championship.
It's how they always find a way to let you down. A couple years ago when they knocked Packers/Rodgers out of the playoffs they were healthy and on a roll/could have rolled it into the SB but had 1 too many losses/ last year when they blew it against SF. They just always find a way to lose
π―π―π―π― Iβm a Seahawk fan, so it didnβt matter who won, however I had hoped they make it to divisional round, but Commanders had a near perfect game. It was by far the funnest playoff game Iβve seen in ages.
Gotta love sports fan celebrating affirmative action during the NFL Draft, so a team like the Commanders can make it to the championship, while simultaneously shitting on affirmative action in colleges and the workplace - where it really counts.
Jared Goff literally shit the bed. The Rams knew what they were doing when they traded him. Heβs a big numbers guy but at the end of the day heβs a liability
I guess if thereβs a silver lining to the Lions not going to the Super Bowl and winning it, it is I wonβt have to suffer through seeing images of the team celebrating at the White House which is soon to be occupied by that orange shitgibbon. Odds are this team wonβt go in the next 4 years either.
Really surprised they got there but Daniels is proving he belongs! But⦠Iggles will beat the Rams easily then take out the Commanders. Iggles vs Chefs in Super Bowl may the best refs win!!
As a Bills fan my heart goes out to the Lions and their fans. Tremendous year despite injuries that would have derailed most teams. They should be extremely proud of their team. GO BILLS!
Lions will be back with their first string defense and take the next step they're destined to. I hope the commanders are capable of beating the chiefs.
He's so easy to cheer for. He seems like a nice guy and so talented. I do feel for the Lions, though. They have never won a Super Bowl, and it has been a long time since they have been in this position. We Packers fans have witnessed Detroit's suffering through the years, so we know this hurts.
This is super cool! Iβm originally from the DC area. Grew up a βSkinsβ fan during the 80βs and early 90βs. Moved to βCharm Cityβ, became a @baltimoreravens.bsky.social for Life! I REALLY hope a Baltimore vs Washington Super Bowl happens. First, letβs take care of business against Buffalo. π πͺπΌ π¦ββ¬
Who gets to come to NOLA?!
This is the BEST town to host a Super Bowl!
I saw my 1st Super Bowl at Tulane Stadium.
And, I was there when Dempsey kicked that 63 yard game winning field goal.
How about you show some one the amazing plays from the game instead of five minutes of detroit players crying? smh⦠it was an amazing game and the clip espn chooses to show is loosing team crying! show one of the plays of the winning team!!!! Go Commanders!!!
Not only does he have the athletic talent he also has the intangibles: poise, humbleness, and the ability to lead a group of grown men. Very happy for the commanders fan base whoβs been waiting a very long time for a franchise guy.
I was stunned and shocked by the performance of the Commanders. The Lions' defense was not expecting that out of them. Even I thought the Commanders would put up around 20 points.

(But not in a good way)
You know how many folks said the Commandersβ season would end today?
They were unable to roar last night against the Commanders
The commanders came out blazing on all cylinders.
Congratulations to them
We Lions supporters are very proud of our Detroit team
Some days are not of success
I only knew a touch down, a tackle, a throw & a field goal at the time
I learned more in the last 8 years.
Myself I was an athlete & so I understand the importance of winning, purpose driven, discipline, success, & game planning circumstances.
I won money two thousand dollars asking a team of American executives to bet on the Ravens to win the super bowls
And surely they did bet big & the Ravens won
I was in Orlando at the time
Being from Barbados, my first introduction was hailing for the Ravens.
A Barbados born person played for the Ravens, so hereβs my admission
Yes, I read up the history of the Lions.
I learned football in the last eight years.
He played against my team
However, I had to appreciate his ability & attitude to be calm, control, confident in structural completion.
He was extremely composed.
The results from his executions also helped with the interceptions & turned over.
He played to expectations
but im just so fkn proud of JD5

(Thank you, Daddy!β€οΈβοΈ)
The Lions got it going now and we once again have a rivalry and not a meme match up. But as for now, it is the Commanders turn to shine.
Awesome game Commandersππ½
