Libraries are full of staff who are on board with these EOs and the direction things are going. It’s not a secret, it’s just not talked about by the people it should be.

It makes no sense, but I'm not surprised. Being around books all day doesn't mean you'll be smart. Anyone can be a fucking idiot, and bigotry comes in all shapes & sizes. I desperately hope things can be stopped & reversed, but if not, I hope these shitlords get everything they think they want.
