I'd argue crab chips are one of the staple chip flavors in Maryland and surrounding regions, much in the same way All Dressed chips are ubiquitous in Canada.

Maryland's obsession with old bay seasoning cannot be understated. Smith Island Bakery, a popular local cake shop, once offered a cake frosted with old bay cream.

Maryland-area McDonalds also briefly served filet-o-fishes with old bay tartar sauce. It was delicious and I miss it dearly every day.
