They don’t have much choice. If it’s illegal to perform a Nazi salute in Germany it’s definitely illegal to project a massive one on a building. It would undermine the law against Nazi symbols if they gave it a pass.

You can argue the context, but while everyone would understand what it was actually saying, to permit it opens the door to ‘interpretation’ and that way madness lies

I mean, if it’s illegal to do/show the salute, then it’s illegal. Hopefully the investigation will show that they did it as criticism of Musk and not as support of the salute, and they’ll get a slap on the hand. But if the newspaper had to censor the salute, I’m not surprised abt the investigation.
