I was so confused at this post. I see a hawk. I had no idea buzzard meant something different in Europe. Learn something new every day. In the States if a person says buzzard we think of a vulture or other carrion eater.

Yeah I believe birds of the genus Buteo are referred to as Buzzards in Eurasia and Africa and Hawks in the Americas. Medium sized, stocky raptors; I’ll try to remember to give them both names in future for a worldwide audience!
Interesting. I have heard the term divers before. Never associated it with loons. I don't see them much. I think they just migrate through here and don't stay.
