Side note, but I'm very frustrated by Stewart's ongoing dismissal and downplaying of the swift descent into overt fascism and autocracy, and staggering corruption in the current administration. From dismissing clear signs of fascism a few weeks ago to handwaving away Murphy's comments here.

I watched the Hayes interview. I also listened to Heather Cox Richardson live yesterday. I believe Schumer's rationale HOWEVER, I don't think it was the only choice. And not the right choice in that moment. My issue with Schumer is that he doesn't know it. That's why he needs to move over.
