White people complain to me a lot about talking about race all of the time. What the Trump administration is doing is why I talk about race. They are attacking everyone except one group. Straight white men. So, for you people who want to believe it's just about class, it's actually not.

After emancipation, ex-enslavers claimed that educating Black Southerners would cause a "negro insurrection." The idea came from the Haitian Rev—that if Black ppl really understood how they were exploited, they wouldn't stand for it. The anti-woke/CRT/DEI GOP repeats this same racist nonsense today.
