Great thread this. Would add - part of Farage's success was getting voters who broadly speaking agree with people who vote for the BNP*but find the far right déclassé. A risk too in going from 15 per cent to a five per cent one.

What’s the alternative - slow death? It’s deeply odd.
The Labour right could go to the mat with the Left because their are some major differences between them. They view leftism as a moral failing. Kemi and the Tories don't.
They now don't have a single elected office.
