Ohhh, Death’s End! I’m reading that right now, I’m excited to finish the Remembrance of Earths Past series. Liu Cixin quickly became one of my favorite authors this year.
We had to downsize significantly when we took the innkeeper job. We have dozens of boxes of books in climate controlled storage with nowhere to display them. This is our current bedtime reading stack:
Great collection! As someone who has read all the Metro books and played all the Metro games, it’s nice to see someone appreciating them as well. Have you tried Matheson’s ‘I Am Legend’? It’s quite similar to the Metro trilogy.
My Dean Koontz collection mostly consists of Odd Thomas series. Boring the ones you have for future purchasing. I used to read a lot of Dean Koontz when I was younger.
Many say folks don't read books with fervor, frequency anymore, yet personal library photos show shelves overflowing, books wedged here, crammed there. Could the problem is capacity? Maybe we're influenced by significant other carping, "You gonna reference, re-read, any of 'em"? Maybe.
A lot of Dean Koontz, which I like, but Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything is one of the greatest books I've read. Love seeing it on that shelf.
