I’m so grateful for the careful thinking & writing that @eryk.bsky.social is doing about #LLMs and “stable diffusion” image generation — blithely referred to as “ #AI” in the current discourse.
I was struck by his response to the common objection “But that’s not A.I., that’s capitalism!” Indeed!
