A6: My primary goal is to (evenly) strengthen my glutes and learn how to activate them when I run. My running goal of 2025 is to be able to run further than 3-4 miles pain-free. If I can hit double digits again, I will cry tears of happiness. #RunChat
My grandfather was a member of New York Road runners and ran it in 1970. His running was a fond memory for my mother. My mother passed last year. I am running it for her.
I deeply appreciate this story. Started running in 1973, and familiar with all the people who were involved with the formation of the NYC Marathon and it's first couple of decades of development and into what it is now.
A6: After today's continuous run, think I might go big and find a 5K to go continuous. I'll max out at that distance, so I don't push my ortho situation into overdrive! Now, I get to pick out the race...yes, I'm looking at bling that goes with registration! #runchat
A6: I signed Bandit up for a half marathon in March. I need a smaller race between now and then to get him used to running in a large group. Hoping I can find a local race that’s dog-friendly.
A6) Sat is the Polar Opposite Peachtree Road Race! So excited to run the course in reverse on Sat the 4th! Thanks #AtlantaTrackClub #runchat #RunningCityUSA
Thanks, Carly. You know I always have a blast with every run. I also look forward to hopefully meeting you and my other Florida runfam this year at some point.
