I have an issue with them trying to reboot Jurassic Park II. If they’re going to reboot something at least do the first one. Or follow Crichton’s Lost World novel.

It’s like when Lucas made the prequel trilogy too different from the original trilogy and people complained. Then they complained that the sequel trilogy tried too hard to replicate the original trilogy.

No film franchise has had a lower critical success rate in history. The Jurassic Park franchise is 1 excellent film, 1 okay film, and 4 increasingly bad ones.

I mean you literally get 50% of the public complaining when things change and 50% of the public complaining when things stay the same. I don't think it's the same people, but it means sequels are guaranteed to cause complaining.
