Last summer travelling with family something like 5 ferries a day with longest trip of 1,5 hours I figured out how handy it was with EV running the AC all the time while ICE cars needed to be turned off. Also fridge got the power all day long keeping snacks and drinks cold.

Just returned from the UK via Dover Calais last week and the ferry (unfortunately diesel) had what turned out to be free AC chargers !

I didn't know so couldn't use them !

Yep 100% bad electricity. Good point. The only interesting thing is tho: the ferry company is not banning/ restrictibg EVs (as some have) but encouraging them.
