well decided that since I’m looking for android jobs in earnest now I should get a decent android phone before the tariffs start. ordered a Pixel 9 Pro bc it was on a Black Friday sale.

Yup. I just got a chest freezer, so whenever food becomes sort of affordable, I can buy and freeze. I’m also considering an external hard drive.

Yep, I don't live in the US, but I bought an oven I'd put off replacing for years (broiler has been dead with no replacement parts since forever; new one also has convection & air fry) & I'm thinking about getting a base M4 Mac Mini (less essential, but better now than if a trade war lights up.)
