the dorley project has gotten ridiculous. every time I work on a chapter, I have to open two word documents, one excel sheet, one google doc, and butterfly out like eight scrivener windows

if you let it sprawl anymore eventually it'll get to the point where you need a keycard swipe, 2 metal detectors, rotating daily passphrase+challenge, and retinal scan to get *to* the dorley archive workstations
That said, it's been *years* since I've looked at Scrivener. Wondering if maybe I should consider using it.
Getting really tired of MS Word getting all squirrely at the 250k+ word mark (jeez it's only a 1mb file!) Plus there's all the BS needed to match specific (& differing) submission formats.
i have to reread about five previous dorley chapters to read one new one, and that’s without the responsibility of having to keep continuity across 750k words or so.
