apparently this needs to be said: this doesn't mean we cede this particular fight. it means we have always been, and will always be, in a struggle for justice. we do the work, whether we see the fruits of our labor or not. we do this work on all fronts, all the time, for all the things we love.

It means a lot to know how many others live outside the binary of either denying the horrors or endorsing them.
irreparable harm has already been done. we’ll be fixing this for years. getting overwhelmed by that prospect is a luxury lots of us simply don’t have. so i’m looking to & building better worlds. both/and, always!!
