Nope. The only way is if every owner of a relay independently deleted the post. The way I think of nostr is like if you were just connected to a lot of email servers and inboxes and every post was reply-all. I'm sure this analogy will break down eventually but it's worked so far.
stupid tech implementation, insane anti-censorship policy that's definitely gonna turn it into a c/p factory like 8chan, weirdly aggressive fanboys...Who could possibly be running a site like that?
The lead dev announced a plan for dealing with cp but I think I'm not smart enough to figure out how it works. I'm probably reading it incorrectly, but it seems like this is only a solution to keep clients from seeing it. https://fiatjaf.com/3f106d31.html
Since NOSTR is on-chain, your options are for it not to be seen or shown to you, but it will always be on chain. There are also no algorithms, so as long as you don't follow the cp crowd you typically won't see any cp.
the man we are all making fun of when asked about illegal content in broad strokes just said "report it to the authorities" so I'm not hopeful, but I'll try and make sense of what this dude is saying
It sounds like they're not actually doing anything other than providing a bit of information on how they think it can be handled - nothing is enforced that's the point.
