Yes it’s true. Some people do own their homes though and I think it gives a false sense of security. Our democracy was so much more fragile than we thought because I think people believed we actually still had a semblance of it?

I suggest not using the word "control". Like "gun control" or in this conversation, "controlled capitalism" Americans have reflexive negative to the idea of "control". Perhaps "accountable" & "responsible" may be better to communicate these. Some may have better suggestions. "control" not a winner.

You all still don't get it. The Democrats lost because they went even further right wing and lost 15 million Progressive and marginalized voters. They backed Apartheid, Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide...plus police state bull hockey back here with cop cities and their border bill.
Democrats may be missing in action . but an unfit nation re; poor health , unvaccinated , poor diet ,low moral is surely unfit to repulse Americas enemies !
