I am trying to convince anyone with a bigger platform on the left to talk to me in order to have a very important discussion about what the right wing (potentially FA) are doing on YouTube. Sadly my success rate is0, which sucks cause I have a bad feeling after 20th of Jan we will not get much help.
“MAGA voices right now are attempting to blame others for the California wildfires, yet 44 of them voted against a bill containing funding for wildfire prevention”.
The ONLY way to make America GREAT again would have been to keep America TRUMPLESS, FOREVER!!..by putting him BEHIND BARS or in a facility for the criminally-insane.
....and NOT one mention of this on any broadcast station nationally or locally in LA. The finger pointing has already begun and this is a pretty telling piece of information to combat the lies being told at this moment!
These people all suffer from broken brain 🧠. Like all the tiny little drawers that are inside their brains exploded with all the pieces in them fell dead to the floor.
It sure isn't just Tennessee. My district, District 1, in Minnesota just re-elected one of the most brain dead Representatives in the country: Brad Finstad. It's primarily a farm district and he regularly votes to hold up farm bills. And they keep voting for him.
A simplified version to the issue is their lack of SIMPLE talking points on how they are voting against their best interests and getting over the hump of "I would rather go hungry than a colored person to have food." mentality.
I lived in Denver for 5 years and spent a lot of time out on the Western Slope. A lot of folks out there seem to think the 1960s are going to come back with all of that oil shale mining and irresponsible land mismanagement. Even Trump isn't going to change that.
California and other states should withhold part of their federal taxes to pay for these measures in their states. Why should a Missouri Senator or Congressman dictate how Western states manage their natural resources?
These facts don’t matter when the MAGA propaganda machine is working overtime. Dems should be working overtime on counterattacking their misinformation.
California could afford on its own to implement all sensible forest management measures to reduce risks of rapid wildfire leaps between spaces. It is a self-owned problem that waits to happen. Republican obstructionism cannot cushion its own inaction.
Oh, suddenly they're being held to some standards of humanity?
People, if we can't throw them out for public indecency, handjobs in the theatre, or planting bombs in the Capitol for a "3 day protester demonstration" then I have no idea what else to say to Muricans besides "bend over, kiss 🍑 bye"
And they do it KNOWING that when red states need help blue states will always help. It's repulsive how selfish and disgusting the GOP and red states are. Personally I say next time Oklahoma has a tornado or Florida has a hurricane let the red fuckers suffer.
Exactly. The states that take more federal money than they give are all red. The states that have the worst schools are all red. The states that have the most disasters are red. They want and want and want and they give absolutely fucking nothing. Fuck them royally.
But isn't the parable about a frog and a scorpion by Esobo with inspirations from Indian Panchatantra? I didn't know about one with monkeys, interesting.
I actually thought it was a turtle and a scorpion. I guess any way you look at it the scorpion is the villain of the story. Fucking scorpions anyway. Always...pinching...or biting...or spitting venom or whatever the fuck it is scorpions do.
Sadly this sentiment doesn't help the "ordinary people" who are the ones whose homes are threatened each time.
You're still countrymen, let's all face what Mother Nature has in store together.
I'll tell you what...as soon as you get a single republican to agree with what you just said I'll agree as well. Until then I don't give a fuck if every rapist loving traitor falls into the ocean or a fire. They get what they give. I'm sick of the fucking high road.
Every State is roughly half democrats but I get your sentiment.
Every ridiculous lie (salmon smelt, ugh!)and cruel action will wake people who've been misled.
I have a feeling we're going to need each other's support a lot more over the next few years.
How Bogus and Horrible of them. If one of THEIR family was in that area, then they would have been HAPPY to help, but because the fire had No Effect on their OWN in any way, it Just Didn't Matter. Thoseswine ONLY care for their OWN.
Well, sadly when it hits their area on the globe, and it will, it will be too late to mitigate global warming. We have reached the breaking point, It is NOW - these next five years - bc later is too late.
Yeah, I'm in Michigan and expect some retaliation on Whitmer. They're pretending that they didn't try to kidnap her a few years ago, and say it was something like the fbi trying to give magats a bad name 🤦🏼♀️. Like they need any help
That's what they do. Vote against anything that might help those they swore to defend and then point fingers at democrats and lie when the sh&t hits the fan. How do you justify voting against wildfire prevention?
Let the 44 Republican’s proven reverence for forest & other wildfires be known widely, and frequently, because the MAGAt’s demented ADHD attention span is a mere nanosecond long! This factual reality must be dinned into numbskulls!
What Trump and the rest of the GOP don’t get is that one third of California is Federal land. Which means it’s Trump’s responsibility to make sure those lands are maintained. Unfortunately the GOP under Trump’s orders are slicing and dicing every program that benefits us all.
Yes he did because he is that stupid. I’m beginning to realize why they put lead in everything back in the 50’s and 60’s. It was in paint, in building materials, and even in some foods. Lead affects memory in the human brain. It’s why everyone seems to have forgotten Trump’s last term.
AZ Rep Andy Biggs always votes MAGA. Apparently, Eli Crane (who lives in Tucson) but represents No. AZ, is a Biggs wannabe and voted against this as well. Considering that No. AZ is heavily forested shows how complicit MAGA Republicans are in destroying our state/country.
The one thing you can always count on for the GOP, is that they NEVER do anything that actually helps the American people. Wait till Project2025 kicks in and FEMA and NOAA get dramatically cut if not out and out eliminated.
Nearly 47% of the total land of California is owned by the Federal government, much of it forested land in the Sierras. Failing to take active steps to do preventative maintenance on the forest is an abdication of the government's responsibility.
Fox propaganda =Murdoch, Mr Orange, Now Elon w X. fox doesnt show “news”. they r selective & the Opinion shows like Hannity, Ingragam show blatant lies
Of course they voted against it. They are likely the same people who voted against the infrastructure bill but happy to take credit in front of their constituents when the funds rolled in. They aren’t even contrarians. They are just agents of chaos. Vote no for the sake of no.
This is the most frustrating group of people ever to hold an office. None of them deserve any position! And yet, they will claim all kinds of lies about the California fires! Once again the idiot elected will help Republican states and not help blue states! He is the laughing stick of American!
Exactly the group I would have guessed if I had to….if it isn’t enriching their pockets, then it’s not good for our country. I think California is still a part of our country…right??👀
No shock there, these Republicans maybe have one brain cell to share between them. None of them understand wildfire prevention or anything about forest management. I feel all indigenous communities & people should be in charge of the environment & forest management. There connection to earth is deep
Let me guess, when their state has a disaster, they get on Fox News and howl like a pack of hyenas about how dare the democrats stop theses innocent people suffer?
these dirt bags hurried up to say it was the Democrats that created the fire. I have learned when MAGA blames someone else, it is actually them that is guilty.
If I remember correctly from term 1, trump kept urging Californians to manage the forests better which included raking. There were fires back then too.
Every one of them complete and utter scumbag.
They would be the first to bitch and moan when a disaster broke out in their towns. Wait Hawley isn't even living in the town he's representing -

How many ways are there to say Republicans are hypocrites? I’ve run out. There’s something new, hateful, and heinous at least once a day. It often involves hurting regular Americans.
Yes they are! They will use any and all disasters and make it a democratic fault. Who cares about the people impacted by such horrible disaster! It’s all about them!
The irresponsibility is made even worse when a natural disaster is used for political attacks. Only the most feckless use a disaster as a prop after they actually opposed the legislation to fund preventative measures
Well, we know Blowbert's too busy giving handjobs to care much about anything else. Dump only cared about getting out of serving prison time. And, yet, idiots still vote for these turds.
Democratic leaders must stop bringing pillows to a knife fight. Do not compromise, find common ground, or reach across the aisle. Bipartisanship doesn't work with fascists. Fight them as hard as you can. Sign the petition.

These are usually the loudest voices in attacking the people who are trying to improve the situations that allow these disasters to become so intense. They don't care about the damage or destruction, they only want to score political points.
Of course they did. These are the obstructionists. These people are there to disrupt and do the bidding of the man who wants to destroy the country we love however they can. These people are pure evil.
57% of Ca. forests that Forest Ranger, Convicted Felon and Finnophile Trump wants swept and raked are owned by the U.S. Federal Government.
Which, BTW, HE was Chief Executive Officer of from 2017 - 2021, while demanding Ca. do HIS job.
Nice sentiment from Nancy Mace and YET HER NAME IS ON the list of the 44 REBULICANS who voted against the bill in December. Hmmm .... She cares; She doesn't care; She cares; She doesn't care???? Gotta wonder which is true. Bring her on MTN and ask her to her face. Get her to change her vote!!
Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to the abyss of ignorance, apathy and lack of compassion for fellow human beings that is continuously demonstrated by the GOP. It is supremely unfortunate that they breed!
Unless constituents take their heads out of the sand and actively participate in their communities and make demands from their representatives, these people are there to become wealthy from lobbyists and leave the country to go to s..t.

It's right there in the heading. You didn't even have to go to the article to get your answer.
I would crush it on the DNC for marketing.

They will call this era , The reinvention of truth.
Then it’s climate change. Cool. let’s rape Greenland since she melted.

The parable of the monkey and the scorpion comes to mind... Stop saving the same people who ALWAYS stab you in the back.
Especially now.

I have a feeling we're going to need each other's support a lot more over the next few years.
They'd have to get what they want by convincing other reps + senators that what they want is worth it -- democracy at work.
They people who voted for them has no brains
Oh wait. Silly me, that is #26 of republican party qualifications requirement, the 'switcheroo'. Apologies, I had a momentary lapse there.
Yes, there are also some pyro nuts out there. They caught one in Calabasas.
I believe they put that one out before it got too big.

It's not the Repubes are any good at it, it's the fact the Dems are so good at losing.
Who's the old guy with nose glasses? What's his deal?
Let the young people give it a shot, anyone over 50 in an elected seat needs to retire.
We are YEARS behind in wildfire management work.
Either you clear the brush build up with a controlled process that protects houses and roads or wildfires will break out and do it for you.
