It was much colder for Obama's first Inauguration (single digits in the morning to low teens for a high). They seemed to do just fine. I am sure Greenlanders and Canadians could not abide a President who doesn't know "It is never too cold if you dress appropriately."

I know why they moved the inauguration indoors AND why they needed to raise so much money for it-they’re having to pay people to attend and if it’s indoors, it won’t look as sad and empty as it would otherwise.
