Conversely, the co-chair of Sullivan & Cromwell became Trump’s lawyer last November, so they haven’t been targeted—or unequivocally tested—yet.

Thank you for summarizing this. I've been an attorney for many years in the Midwest, primarily in academia. Teaching about the Constitition and Rule of Law are ironic at this point. Our ethics code values pro bono work, but not for a dictator. Hang tough heroes.

The hero law firm list should include the firms representing them in court and the thousands of law firms, legal organizations and individual attorneys who have signed amicus briefs supporting their cause.

The hero list is actually much longer and a better measure of our profession.
