Couple benefits:
1) VirtualHere provides a working server for macOS
2) The VirtualHere USB server can be on a remote machine

I’m really interested in seeing an open-source solution for this too! E.g. I just upgraded the paid VirtualHere server I’m running on a BeagleBone Black and the license broke…the developer was quick to send a new one, but it was down for a bit
