Guys the only way that selection bias of this nature would skew polls about health insurance is if literally tens of millions of Americans were dying due to denied insurance claims or other coverage issues. It’s not plausible

Also, someone's death is going to be noticed by the people in their social circle. Like I'd be a little mad if my family member suffered because it was an "unnecessary medical procedure".

Without wondering about the incongruity? Health insurance is not popular. People saying they are satisfied is not the same thing.
They aren't fine - they accept the statue quo, but that is absolutely not the same thing.
