Datagrip is cool for querying, I still use vim for dbt and the terminal for duckdb.

For extra credit: a tool that supports MongoDB+AWS DocumentDB also would be very cool. (Although I'm generally happy using Studio3T for that).

These days I mostly work in the terminal and in VSCode (and in the terminal inside VSCode). If there’s a good VSCode extension I should try, I’m very interested.

I have used DBeaver, but only rarely. I worked on an integration with an Informix backend once and DBeaver seemed to be the only client with Informix support. I don't remember liking it much but I do see it recommended often enough that I should probably revisit it 🤔

Did you know Dbeaver supports a vim mode through a plugin? :)) I have used it for a while, and it's better than nothing. But check out dadbod I linked above; you won't be disappointed, quite the opposite :)

I mostly use Azure Data Studio, but I work almost exclusively in SQL Server. It looks and feels like VS Code though so it's comfortable

LazyVim with the SQL Extra turned on, instantly configured Dadbod setup which i’ve always found super painful to get working otherwise. Has drivers for all those.
