I have no words. Only tears. Arianna Grande and Cynthia Erivo filled some big shoes. We left the theater crying in sheer awe. I will never shut up about these performances. Zero notes. 🤩🤩🤩🤩💚💚💚💚🖤🩷🩷🩷🩷
I saw it with my daughter & husband. My daughter & I have seen the Broadway version, her once, me twice, I enjoyed it both times but I absolutely LOVED the movie. The theater was buzzing afterwards. Everyone was talking about it. Even my totally non-musical theater husband enjoyed it. lol
I’m looking forward to seeing it, not least, because I loved the stage musical and one of my best friends is a background artist in the film… but I’m hoping that, when I go, it won’t descend into a sing-a-long performance. I appreciate the devotion of the fans, but I’m paying to see the stars sing.
She actually does a shockingly good version of Kristen Chenowith's Broadway performance. Had huge doubts about the casting but she nailed it it turns out.
I mean I have seen the stage play... It has 3 good songs and the story is just about strong enough to hold together a 2hr 45m runtime. So I am not sure that a cynical decision to make it into 2 films is that great an idea. Particularly since Popular and Defying Gravity should be in the first half
Hey, when your little girl is crying because they can’t hear the racist singing, just know that my ancestors are smiling and praising me for my performance. Grande is a racist. Stop platforming racists. #wicked #ariangrande
And people are already complaining that Elphaba’s actress is black. They had no complaints when Gamora was played by a black woman. It only bothers them NOW because Fox told them to be scared of “woke”, whatever they think that means
It's not that but her reaction to an edit of the poster where her face got covered, and they gave her a smirk like the stage plays poster. Also the dolls have a link to a porn site
I’m reading this right now and it is so good. Very funny…and it’s extra fun to read in public because of the looks people give you! (It’s about evolutionary biology 😂)
Oh, I have not read the book or see the play. I don't do well in movies but I really want to see it. It looks great!!!. I can't handle flashes when scenes change due to migraines. I haven't seen a movie in a theater since second showing of ET! 🙄🙄
