I think we can change the world by having protected bike lanes and secure bike parking everywhere.

That sign isn’t doing shit to protect anyone’s life.
I will gladly pay more in taxes if it goes to protected bike lanes instead of useless signs.
We’ve spent billions on bike infrastructure and mode share is less than 10% in most urban areas.
Remember the Six E’s of Advocacy:
Encouragement
Evaluation
Education
Engineering
Enforcement
Equality
Ave bike is ridden <12hrs/yr. Start there
What you are advocating is the status quo of people getting killed by drivers. You refuse the things that are proven to work.
Nobody should take you seriously.
Do better. Bye.
The odds of an incident are 1/10,000 per ride. That resets every ride. 1 ride is a stunt. 1 week of rides is an adventure. 1 month of rides is mundane. Odds are incredibly in your favor.
Gas: $75
Food: $1500
Mortgage: $2500
Bike Lanes: $200,000,000
Insurance: $350
someone who is good at economy pls help, my family is dying
I don't need someone who argues for higher death rates because he wants lower taxes.
But the covid comment was the closer.
A rare case but it also happened in the posh North Shore suburbs of Chicago
It's the law!!!
Several off duty police have run over people killed them and gotten a ticket
Not jail time
Not am immediate revoked license
A ticket
But please talk about Laws 🙄
Above the law. More Anarchy, please.
Signs?
Laws?
Hope for enforcement?

Even walking is not pleasant or safe if there's too many cars around.
