And nothing could come of this one, too. These don’t lead to direct action, but they can help some GOP electeds see that this dude ain’t all that. Anything helps, at this point.

I think we need a good number of folks to camp out at the Capitol for daily, direct meetings with our representatives and senators. Taking decisive action and making our voices heard in person will be far more impactful than relying on these petitions.
Maybe a group needs to form to carry this out…

Not directly. But, one of the biggest impediments to remove this guy is the House/Senate GOP. IF they see 50-100K peeps signed this, MAYBE it’ll put more pressure on them to do SOMETHING. Sad.

I just wish our laws worked. He broke the law. Laws should keep people from having to work this hard and be constantly disappointed. Maybe that’s what we can change going forward. We are learning. Democracy is a lot of work, but we can put guardrails in so we don’t have to do everything.

After seeing the results of the Presidential election, I think 2/3 of the population of Oklahoma is on-board with hard-right politics, including what Walters is doing. He's going to have to get a lot crazier before there will be the necessary will to remove him.

I’m with you, these things don’t lead to direct action. That said, anything that can show how displeased the electorate is with Walters could help the House/Senate GOP to move to action.

I totally understand the sentiment. It just gets hard to take when you sign 50 petitions and none of them lead to anything. I hope this at least advances to proceedings.
