Patreon, Squarespace, Gumroad. My hand slipped and I contacted the ACLU and the MA Bar Association for legal assistance. If you’ve been fucked over by draconian nsfw bans please join my Mastercard Injury Mailing List.

If you’d like to send a ko-fi for legal consultation fees: https://ko-fi.com/littledeathcomic/
Do not mention adult content, ko-fi is run by PissPal. I can’t use crypto.
I'm interested in staying informed but I don't have a financial horse in this race yet and don't want to take away from those that do.
also fuck card companies
I do wonder with the internationalisation of finances, how workable would it be to get an account in a country that doesn't have these particular hangups or whether that might be more expenses than it's worth

I'm not well versed in the law so I'm genuinely curious about this.
Mastercard requires review of adult content to ensure it is legal: https://www.aclu.org/news/lgbtq-rights/how-mastercards-new-policy-violates-sex-workers-rights
PayPal and Stripe prohibit sex work, but do not prohibit NSFW art: https://www.aclu.org/news/lgbtq-rights/paypal-and-venmo-are-shutting-out-sex-workers-putting-lives-and-livelihoods-at-risk
Sites like Gumroad simply don’t want to moderate NSFW, so they ban it.
If the CC companies backed down and transactions related to CSAM or sex trafficking got through, the CC companies could be held liable.
And a research paper on the result:

Activist shareholders definitely helped. But it's only gotten worse since then:

I’m not even on there all that much and I came across stuff I’m sure was underage or revenge porn. You didn’t have to dig for it.
Then they lost their payment pipeline, and suddenly all the user-generated content went poof because there was so much of it they couldn’t check it all.
