Maybe someone could also point out that anti-NSFW policies and bans on NSFW content invariably target LGBT content, no matter how SFW it really is, due to how queerphobia and sex-negativity go hand-in-hand, as bans on NSFW content/kinks/fetishes in general are often used as an anti-LGBT dogwhistle.

Sites like Gumroad simply don’t want to moderate NSFW, so they ban it.

I’m not even on there all that much and I came across stuff I’m sure was underage or revenge porn. You didn’t have to dig for it.

There is nothing in any credit card or payment processor terms banning art, only sex work. Which is unfair to sex workers, yes, but also shows how lazy these sites are being. They don’t want to be bothered checking all adult content to ensure it isn’t real porn, so they just ban all of it.
