When I first got glasses I was *astonished* to see individual leaves on trees! I'd been viewing the world in soft focus so long I didn't even realize it! 🍃
You can see the same I would say, but it removes a lot of the negatives of glasses, there are no rims to limit were the clear view stops, they don't fog up or get dirty and you can use masks, sunglasses and other accesories without worrying about your vision being impared
....but really, I tried contacts. I am so freaked out by touching my eyes, I can't even do eyedrops. Which really sucked when I got my cataract surgeries. Congrats on normal vision!
I did the exact same thing the first time I got contacts. I was staring at random stuff just amazed that I could see it, and nearly walked right into traffic. 😹
This reminds me of when I finally put on my glasses after not putting them on for a while or getting new glasses and then putting them on to suddenly see in HD4K ultra

I got mine back in a different way 3 months ago... fascinating 😃
