I think Muppet Treasure Island is the best adaption of Treasure Island. Is there a better one? Every time I see a different version I just compare it to Muppet and it's not as good.

Idk, maaaybe the 1950 disney adaptation? I haven’t seen that in a while though. Unless you mean better in terms of quality instead of adaptation accuracy.
It's a simple litmus test do other adaptations of treasure island have Tim Curry do a song about how cool being a pirate is and the moral complexities of said profession? If no it can't be better than Muppet
