It really sunk in for me just how much we're in the "post-movie star era" (and how Marvel specifically was who forced this to happen in the late 00's) when I saw the trailer for Thunderbolts and instead of actor names on screen, it showed character names on screen. Just a fascinating sea change.

People on the right want artists to be on their side SO BADLY it's embarrassing. They love how cool artists are, but cannot bear the fact that artists hate them. This is also why AI is so beloved in right wing circles, they get to force the artists who say no to them to give them their work.
